Hi everyone!
First of all, thanks to all of you for your continued support and good wishes.
And now, the update! We had a lengthy call with the network today and the good news is that they love what we've done so far. They're still very excited about our project, but they've asked us to go back and make a few changes to the pilot before they make their final decision. This will involve writing and shooting a new opening scene and re-shooting a couple of existing scenes. Then we'll edit it all together, work with them to incorporate notes, and they'll present that revised version to the Powers That Be for the final decision.
So, we've got some work ahead of us... but it's all good and, in the end, I think the show will be much better for it.
In other words, stay tuned... because more pre-production, production, and post-production updates will be on their way soon!!!

I had to laugh when I read your new post, Michelle. This project has to be an exercise in patience for you. Write, rewrite, rewrite the rewrite, shoot, reshoot,etc. I'd imagine you know Jennifer Baker inside out. (Tee hee).
Whew!
I'm finding solace in the fact that currently, on Logo's Click List (short films) the top two ranking shorts, "Gillery's Little Secret" and "Little Black Boot" are directed by and about women. This is out of twenty five total shorts. For me, this is a sign that Logo would be well-advised to have more "female programming," i.e., "The Rules."
I guess I'll get back to my affirmation:

I love Gillery's Little Secret! Well, really I love Annabeth Gish and I have that on DVD. It's lovely.
LOGO could definitely use some more female programming, indeed. C'moooon Powers That Be.. :)

so go on michelle grab it and write a pile of this excellent stuff we are expecting from you.

This "Grab the bull by the horns" sounds a bit ... i dont know, like in a bad porn? a really bad one.. when i saw the ten rules i was kinda "uhm.. yeah.. ok!"
hi mania, well... i didn't watch porn very often, and if i do i prefer the better ones. which might be not very porn anymore but anyway i'm not very familiar with the sound of bad porn. but i know that if i would write bad porn, i definitely would use singular on the horn case. =D
All your friends are rooting for you and so am I. It would have been nice if LOGO had just given the green light. But the delay really isn't bad news. They didn't say NO and since they'll be committing a few million dollars for the series, it's their right to ask for changes. So tweak it and let's get on the air. Luvya
got my first easteregg. it's yellow with a bunny and a flower on it. will keep me five seconds from sending good vibes and energy. than i come back with a giant cholesterine boost =D
