interview about Power Up award

I was recently interviewed by Tracy Gilchrist from LesbiaNation about my Power Up award. She wrote a really lovely article about me (thank you so much, Tracy!) and it's now available online. Click here if you'd like to check it out.

I'll keep you posted as other interviews/articles come out... and you should definitely keep looking for them because the PR train is going full steam ahead for "Exes & Ohs!"

Only a month and a half left until the premiere!!! Can you believe it???

And on a complete sidenote, I realized I've been posting a lot on all the stuff that's happening - but it's been a while since I've done a post about what my day-to-day life is actually like these days... so check back here soon. Once I'm done with my spa session and remove the cucumbers from my oh-so-relaxed eyes, I'll have my assistant's assistant write up a new post about that on my behalf. Now if you'll excuse me, I believe I hear my masseuse calling...

(just kidding, of course - it's actually just my cat meowing for more food)

More soon, though!

premiere date!!

Drum roll please....

Set your calendars, folks! The official premiere date for "Exes and Ohs" is...

OCTOBER 8 (U.S.) - on Logo
and
OCTOBER 11 (Canada) - on Showcase

For those of you who want your "Exes & Ohs" to go (or if you're not in the U.S. or Canada), the show will also be available for download from iTunes at the insanely low price of just $1.99 per episode! That's right... for less than a cup of coffee, you can follow the adventures of Jennifer and her best friends as they survive singlehood, couplehood, and each other.

But wait! There's more!

If you act now, you can also get this handy dandy onion slicer!

(Whoops. Sorry, wrong pitch - you'll have to get your onion slicer elsewhere).

But seriously, there really is more... :-)

Make sure you're also checking the Logo web site for news and information about "Exes & Ohs," including webisodes, cast interviews, and a lot of other content that you probably won't find anywhere else.

And the best part of the iTunes and Logoonline options (get out your pen, Francyne!) is that you can get your "Exes & Ohs" fix from anywhere in the world! Of course, it will also help to let the folks at Logo know where you are... that way, they can work on bringing our show - and other Logo shows - directly to you. To contact them, click here.

Of course, keep checking back here so you can get the behind-the-scenes scoop on what's happening now that the show is done and the promotion train is chugging!!!!

new interview available online

A few months ago, Live Video interviewed me and Marnie at L.A. Gay Pride while we made an appearance at the Logo booth. Here's a picture of us from that day, in case you missed it:

The Live Video interview is now available online. If you'd like to check it out, click here.

Oh, and just so you know, the interview starts with Logo's "Curl Girls," who were also interviewed while at the Logo booth. So you get two sets of interviews for the price of one! How fun is that?!?

Alison Bechdel interview

Believe it or not, I did make it home alive from Comic Con... it's just been such a busy week that I haven't had time to post about my interview with Alison Bechdel. More on what's happening in my world later (and there's A LOT to report, folks!), but for now let's move on to all things Alison.

The interview went great! We chatted about everything from her comic strip, Dykes to Watch Out For, to her book, Fun Home, to how she felt about being nominated for three - yes, three! - Eisner awards. In case you're not familiar with the Eisners, they're the equivalent of an Academy Award or an Emmy Award for the comic community. A hearty congrats to Alison, who won for Best Reality-Based Work.

The interview will be posted on Velvet Park sometime soon. I don't know exactly when, so keep checking their site for updates.

Oh, and by the way, at the end of my interview, Alison turned the tables and interviewed me! So be sure to check Velvet Park for that, too.

In the meantime, here are some photos from after the interview. The lovely gentleman in the second photo is Kent, from Velvet Park. Enjoy!
